Neil Pearson, PT, MSc(RHBS), BA-BPHE, C-IAYT, ERYT500 Neil is a physiotherapist and a yoga therapist who has focused most of his 40+years as a physio helping people with chronic pain. His sessions typically combine guidance in pain self-care techniques, therapeutic exercise, pain science education and hands-on physiotherapy. If you have chronic pain, have been struggling with keeping your body as healthy as possible and you know that some form of mindful movement is needed for lasting benefits, then book in with Neil. And if you are struggling with how much pain is okay while you exercise, Neil can provide the guidance and coaching you need. Neil joins Cumberland Physio and Yoga, while continuing to work in an interdisciplinary rehab program he co-developed for Canadian military veterans across the country who are living with complex chronic pain and mental health concerns caused by their dedicated service to our country. Effective pain care requires understanding pain, being shown the right techniques and the right approach to pain care for your unique situation, and being guided with consistency, discipline and compassionate challenges. Even if your plan with Neil doesn’t include yoga therapy, these same principles will guide your success. Contact Neil at neil@paincareu.com or call 250-486-5056.
